Light the Way
LIGHT THE WAY is a two-year generosity initiative designed to accelerate and expand the mission and ministries of Austin Baptist Church. By God’s grace, we seek to raise $5 million beyond the general fund tithes and offerings to help us shine God’s light even farther as a church.
OUR VISION
Our vision at ABC is to see God light up your life, your home, your neighborhood, and the world. We believe your partnership in this generosity initiative will help ABC fulfill this vision and LIGHT THE WAY forward in three strategic ways: eliminate our debt, expand our mission, and extend the message of Jesus Christ.
Objective One
Eliminate Our Debt
The first way we will seek to LIGHT THE WAY forward at Austin Baptist Church is to pay pay off all debt in order to reallocate funds for ministry and missions. By eliminating this debt, we will free up over one million annually to be used toward vital missions and ministries. Imagine what God can do through us as we reallocate one million dollars a year toward the Gospel!
Objective Two
Expand Our Mission
At ABC, one of our core values is impact. We are a church that strives to make an eternal impact on our homes, our neighborhoods, and the world. One tangible way we do this is through partnering with other ministries locally, nationally, and globally. LIGHT THE WAY will help ABC launch three impactful mission partnerships to help shine The Light even further.
Objective Three
Extend The Message
Living in a digital age and city, it is essential that the technology we utilize keeps up with the pace of our culture through media impact and communications improvements. Through LIGHT THE WAY, we will seek to fund the advancement of ABC’s technology resources through improved campus media and enhanced campus security.
